A small breeder, on purpose.

Move your cursor across this page. Every chameleon at DSquared changes color the same way — including the philosophy that produced it.

DSquared Reptiles began with a single Ambilobe pair and a refusal to scale at the cost of the animal. A decade on, that posture has not changed. We breed in measured numbers, hold animals long enough to read them, and place them with keepers who arrive curious.

A philosophy of locale.

Panther chameleons in Madagascar evolved in narrow corridors of humidity, temperature, and light. Each locale tells a different story in colour. Crossing locales blurs that story; the resulting animal is unrooted. We do not produce unrooted animals.
